Hi guys, I’m back for a bit!

There’s a couple of things I was going to share with you, but instead of posting them separately, I decided to combine them.

My randomness is in swing in this post, so beware. Laugh freely, at my jokes and my flopped jokes and anything that tickles you. That’s the point: to brighten your day a little ❤ If you need a little sunshine today… forecasting a mostly sunny post! 🙂

I took this picture the day I posted Beautiful To Me. I thought I might incorporate it in there somewhere, but ended up not. I love this outfit; it makes me feel kind of like a princess (which is funny, because I’m not so much into pirincessyness anymore 😛 ), and diagonal stripes are a new obsession of mine.

Also, the skirt is nice and long and has just the right amount of swishy dignity without getting in the way. 😉

This is the cap on the bottle of a new brand of lemonade I tried. I really liked the lemonade, and when I saw the cap, I just smiled. A little joy in the (very busy!) day.

So to explain. I go this new app on Diaval (my pseudo-phone) that allows you to put words on pictures. I love it! And I goof off on it in the odd moments I’ve caught in the last week. These are some of my favorites so far.

This was a Fabreeze ad I took a picture of a long time ago because I thought the smiling outlet was cute and reminded me of something. Scrolling through my sparse collection of photos on my phone (I’m a writer, not a photographer 🙂 ), I say it and the caption just popped into my head. A little cheesy, I know. But I couldn’t help myself.

My brother’s foot. Who would’ve ever thought I’d be captioning my brother’s foot? The phrase was a taken from the song from the Disney movie Hercules, which I haven’t even seen and know very little about, except that line from that song. Tell me that’s totally normal, to do that kind of thing? Okay, good, I was hoping so.

This dog. I’m telling you. Soooo captionable! Just look at that face! She is so expressive. Shout-out to Portal 2 for the quote.

I told you she was captionable. And that ^ is exactly her life philosophy/perspective/believe/certainty/truth… and least, she thinks. 😉

I can’t believe I captured that little slit evil eye. Priceless!

Aaaannnd… a bonus photo of my new(ish) mood ring. I have absolutely no faith in what it shows, but it’s kind of fun just to see what it says and see it change colors. Some things though, it gets oddly right. Like when I was talking about my stories to my siblings and (I get very animated about them and I you know I live and breathe stories) I glanced down at my ring and saw it was purple – for “love”. Irony, my friends. 🙂

So, a little confession: I realized I hadn’t told you yet that I started volunteering at the Seattle Humane Society (or SHS), and have been for almost a month now. I’m working in the DBS (Dog Behavior and Socialization) department, which basically means I get to work with the dogs, training, playing, walking (DBS 3 level and higher), and otherwise interacting and socializing the dogs. I am now a DBS 2 level, which means I can do lots of stuff with them, but not walk them. 🙂

This means two things when it comes to the blog. 1) Since I work on Friday afternoon/evening, I lose one of my prime days for writing blog posts, so that means I may not post quite as much as I have in the past, but my love for the blog still blooms, so don’t worry. 😉 2) I might post some of my experiences/pictures from SHS. Just as a heads up. This blog might get a bit of a dog side. 😀

So that’s my rambling meme-filled mixed up post for today. Have a great week, you guys!
